Quick Update

Hello, friends! It's been awhile since we posted – the first month of the year flew by! Weren't we just putting up Christmas lights yesterday?

There's been a lot happening over here, from babies brewing to new products percolating*, so I thought I'd take a moment to keep you all in the loop.

First of all, the biggest news: there's going to be a new member of the Olive & Clyde family in less than a month! Moriya is officially full term and expecting her new baby boy to show up some time in the second half of February. Olive and Rose are going to be awesome big sisters – I know from personal experience that having a little brother is both the most annoying and best thing ever.

Exhibit A: My brother Matt photobombing me at ~1 years old and then photobombing my husband at ~24 years old. He's gotten better at it.

We've also made a lot of progress on our little baby greeting card business over the last month. You may have noticed our snazzy new site – with our very own online store! – and the redesign for the blog. As a small business that's just starting out, it's difficult sometimes to figure out where to best spend your money and how to push your business forward while still being frugal. We were lucky to find an affordable shopping cart platform with Storenvy that should keep us going for awhile – and it's given me a chance to get better at CSS, which makes my nerdiness happy.

What's more, we've decided to take some steps with the business that will make us more flexible and make it easier to test out card ideas, so we can see what you guys like and what we should just toss. So be on the lookout for new cards in 2015 and possibly some art prints and other products.

Speaking of new cards, here's our latest new design, hot off the press:

This card means a lot to us – but Mo will fill you guys in on that, later.

So that's the basic gist of our 2015 so far. We're excited to see what the year brings for the two of us, our little company, and all of you! Thanks for being a friend of Olive & Clyde :)

*Sorry, I like alliteration...and apparently I have coffee on the brain?
